The site is situated on the peripheral of Guildford town centre, comprising of a triangular sloping piece of brownfield land. Overtime the site became home to The Castle and Cannon Brewery, before it was acquired by the Guildford Glass and Metal Works and then later demolished.

The building has 301 private spaces complemented by shared spaces for the residents to use. The design concept draws inspiration from the site’s rich history and revolves around “The Workshop.” Through newly defined conceptions, we bind the old and new together - a celebration of recovery and restoration.
