The conversion of this office building in Reading presents a multifaceted and captivating challenge that represents a journey from the old to the new. The design incorporates elements of both build-to-rent and co-living, with the majority of the apartments comprising micro-units that ingeniously maximise storage and functionality.

The intricate nature of the renovation encompasses the transformation of the lower levels from a car park into shared spaces, while the upper levels are being stripped out and repurposed into apartments. The entire perimeter of the facade is undergoing a re-cladding process to transform the streetscape of this underutilised location.
